Program Impact

Our Impact
Through our partnerships with schools, drug and alcohol treatment programs, mental and behavioral health centers, libraries, veterans programs, faith communities, senior living programs, and many more community service spaces, we've made a significant impact in Lake County.
In 2023, we supported 1,520 teens and more than 200 adults. In 2024, we saw a 27% increase in adolescent service participation (up to 1,923 unique teens) and a massive jump in adult and senior services (up to 422 unique adults), which is more than double the number served in the previous year.

Our impact is measured through comprehensive program evaluation tools that help us understand how our participants feel about our projects, what they enjoy, and the ways in which they benefit from our programs. Participant feedback consistently shows that our programs:
- Support positive mental health and wellness
- Provide useful tools for personal mental health journeys
- Enhance the services clients receive at partner sites
- Create spaces of emotional safety that foster healing and connection
By combining artmaking with safe, nonjudgmental support, we foster creative expression, decrease isolation through interpersonal connections, and provide a powerful outlet for individuals to communicate their feelings, dreams, needs, and other issues in their lives when words alone are not enough.
