The students in North Chicago Community Partners' after-school program at Neal Math & Science Academy did an amazing job on this Perspectives Project! We celebrated black history month by learning about Harlem Renaissance painter Jacob Lawrence and how he used his perspective to show a glimpse into the vibrant community he lived in. Then we discussed one and two-point perspective, horizon lines, and vanishing points. The students digested all of this and showed us a peek into special places in their community they love.
