Launching our PRISM Series in conjunction with Mental Health Awareness Month, local artist and neuropsychologist Joalida Smit will share her life‑changing story of creative expression and its distinct, brain‑shaping benefits—highlighting how artmaking rewires the brain. Participants will then be led through an interactive workshop to create a colorful neurographic art piece to take away as a memento. Beverages & light refreshments provided.

Steph Rogers, the talented and entertaining founder of StoryJam™, will lead guests through a dynamic, interactive workshop on how to develop and present a personal narrative that is more than just a cocktail party anecdote! Guests will receive a list of Chicago area storytelling venues and shows and leave with their personal story as a memento. Beverages & light refreshments provided.

The evening begins with 50 ticket holders and their guests viewing 50 spectacular works of art on display at The Gallery Lake Forest and assessing which piece of art they hope to take home! Each ticket holder is assigned a number. Then the game begins! When we call your number, it’s your chance to grab your preferred piece of art right off the wall! The game continues; we randomly call out ticket numbers until the walls are bare. Each of the 50 ticket holders goes home with a wonderful piece of art, donated by local talent in support of Art Impact Project. Beverages & light refreshments provided.
