Vickie Marasco, Founder and Executive Director
Vickie founded Art Impact Project with the concept of combining the positive power of art and compassion to help people who struggle to have a voice. Prior to Art Impact Project, Vickie directed and was a curator for two art galleries on Chicago’s North Shore as well as design textiles and paper for special events.
Vickie lives in Lake County and in her spare time, enjoys playing tennis, traveling and spending time with friends, family and her three amazing adult children.
Kimberly Saccaro, Transition Director
Kimberly (Kim) Saccaro brings to Art Impact Project over two decades of nonprofit management, fundraising, and board service experience. Kim’s professional contributions include fund, board and organizational development for several statewide, regional and national nonprofits.
In addition to her nonprofit staff roles, Kim has served on several nonprofit boards, including the Highland Park Community Foundation Board of Directors, Bears Care (the charitable arm of the Chicago Bears) and The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award USA. Kim is also a member of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary, serving seven years and counting as a member of the local Wilmette Station Flotilla 39-06 and at one time as Flotilla Staff Officer for Communications. Kim is currently working towards a graduate degree at Harvard University while working part-time as an in-house organizational consultant here at Art Impact Project.
Kim resides in Lake Bluff with her husband, teenage son and, the unspoken perquisite for being a LB resident, two goofy dogs named Art and Chico.
